A detailed timeline of recent events regarding the demolishing of slums in greater Bombay. The blog is called Bombay's Demolition Drive, and it is dedicated to this subject (though, like Communalism Watch, it isn't very bloggy -- more of an archive).
Also on slum demolition: see the excerpts Dilip D'Souza provides from a book on the humanitarian issues behind Bombay's slum problem. It was written 20 years ago, but sounds like it could be written today; nothing has changed.
Unrelated: Speaking of Communalism Watch, this post defending Bihar's CM Laloo Prasad Yadav is interesting. Actually (again) it's not a post, but a cut-and-pasted article from Indian Express. I might accept the argument that Yadav has suppressed communalism in the state, but his record has still been so abysmal in so many other areas that I'm not sure it matters.
